What AI does here

AI assists with drafting weekly reflections from source texts, and powers the Ask the Texts feature, which responds to a seeker's question by drawing on the Gita, Upanishads, Yoga Sutras, and related texts.

AI-generated responses are built to separate what a text actually says from modern reflection on it, and to stay within the scope of these specific texts rather than answering as a general-purpose assistant.

What DharmaAI is not

DharmaAI is not a guru, a religious authority, a licensed therapist, or a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. It does not determine your personal dharma or tell you what to do with your life.

It does not impersonate Krishna, a guru, or any living or historical teacher. Responses are offered as reflection drawn from texts, not as commands or personal instruction from an authority.

Guardrails

The system is instructed to avoid fabricating scripture references it is not confident about, to stay within the scope of Sanatan textual wisdom rather than answering unrelated questions, and to add a safety notice rather than attempt to resolve situations involving self-harm, crisis, abuse, or medical emergencies.

No system is perfect. If a response ever seems to overstate its authority, spiritualize a serious risk, or misquote a text, please treat that as a limitation to route around, not as settled guidance — and consider it worth flagging.

Data and your questions

Questions submitted through Ask the Texts may be logged in order to improve the feature and understand what seekers are asking. [Owner to confirm exact retention period and whether logs are ever reviewed by a person, then reflect that here and in the Privacy Policy.]

Avoid including identifying personal details in a question you ask the texts — treat it the way you would a search query, not a private message to a person.
